My name is G.R Chapotte and Tennis is one of my passions. I am currently a member of a USTA team in DC and North Virginia.
Frustrated by the lack of service at a reasonable cost, in DC and the surrounding areas, I created The Good Racquet just before the 2009 season started.

Ihave gone from stringing only a couple rackets a week to several in a day. I have been stringing rackets previously for years in clubs in France and some of the guys I work with are USRSA (US Racquet Stringers Association) certified.
Wealso started to give lessons and are now building a network of players for the constitution of groups, teams...for your interest of meeting new people and partners. I work with USPTA member who have been doing this for years in California, Arizona, Texas and now DC.

Stringing Location:
We are located in the U street corridor, less than 15 minutes walk from Dupont Circle and about half a mile from Adams Morgan. We can also make arrangements for pick up.
Lessons Locations:
Courts in DC and its surrounding area. We try to get to your best location.
